2 cups wheat flour
Sift all ingredients together and set aside. Cream butter and sugar until incorporated. Add eggs one at a time and beat until egg disappears and mixture becomes light and fluffy. Add bananas to creamed sugar mixture and beat slowly at first and gradually increase speed to thoroughly break up bananas. Add dry ingredients now and mix completely. Add nuts and mix until incorporated. Pour batter into greased loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes. Test for doneness with wooden skewer.
