Fruit Smoothies


2 ripe bananas
1 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen*
1 kiwi, peeled and cut in half
16 oz. container yogurt, flavor of your choice
1/2 to 1 cup apple juice**
3-5 large ice cubes, optional


Place all ingredients into blender, put top on container and blend until smooth. You can make this fresh in the morning and drink all through the day. Please refrigerate if you don't drink it all at once. *You can use all types and combinations of fresh and frozen fruits to make smoothies. Canned peaches and pineapple work well also. **Pineapple, papaya and most any juice can be used for this drink The ice cubes can be eliminated if you prefer a smoother, rather than, icy beverage. Just add more apple juice to arrive at the consistency you prefer. 3-10 ounce servings
